Organic Savoury Pumpkin Seed Tesserae – Biscotti Bizantini

In place of the cane sugar of the sweet versions, sweetness here comes from rice syrup: the same base of flour and sunflower oil takes a completely different path.

These are the savoury versions of the Biscotti Bizantini line, produced by the Mazzoni Bakery of Ravenna with the same artisanal care as the sweet tesserae, but designed for aperitifs: type "0" soft wheat flour, pumpkin seeds (14.6%), high-oleic sunflower oil, rice syrup and salt, with rosemary extract always present as a natural antioxidant.

The result is a crunchy, flavourful biscuit, with the pumpkin seeds giving a toasted, slightly oily note. Organic and 100% plant-based.

Perfect for an aperitif, on its own or paired with fresh cheeses and cured meats.
