Right of Withdrawal — Non-Perishable Products
Pursuant to Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing any reason, for packaged non-perishable products (truffle preserves, honey, wines, pasta, balsamic vinegar and similar), provided that:
- The product is still intact and sealed in its original packaging
- It has not been opened, used or damaged
- It is accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase
Once opened, the right of withdrawal lapses for hygiene and sanitary reasons (Art. 16, letter e, Directive 2011/83/EU).
Exception — Fresh Perishable Products
Fresh perishable products (fresh truffle, products with a short shelf life) are excluded from the right of withdrawal pursuant to Art. 59, letter d, Legislative Decree 206/2005 and Art. 16, letter d, EU Directive 2011/83/EU. For these products the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised except in cases of defect or error as described below.
Purchases with VAT Number — Business Customers
The right of withdrawal under Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code) applies exclusively to consumers, i.e. natural persons acting for purposes outside their professional or commercial activity.
Customers who make purchases indicating a VAT number are considered professional buyers (B2B) and cannot exercise the right of withdrawal under consumer protection law. Such purchases are governed by the Italian Civil Code.
Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you have received a defective product, one damaged during shipping, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@lunanuovatartufi.com attaching photos of the product and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at our expense, regardless of the product type.
How to Start a Return
To exercise the right of withdrawal, notify us of your intention within 14 days of receipt at info@lunanuovatartufi.com or through your customer account. After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the products within 14 days.
To start an authorised return, contact us at info@lunanuovatartufi.com before shipping any item. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of defective products or errors on our part.

Refunds
Once the returned product has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval. The refund will be issued within 10 business days via the original payment method.
