Organic Savoury Rosemary Tesserae – Biscotti Bizantini

Rosemary already appears throughout the Biscotti Bizantini line, but only as a natural antioxidant extract in small amounts: here, instead, it becomes the absolute star of the flavour.

Handcrafted by the Mazzoni Bakery of Ravenna, these savoury tesserae combine type "0" soft wheat flour, high-oleic sunflower oil and rice syrup with a more pronounced presence of rosemary, which gives the biscuit a Mediterranean, herbaceous aroma clearly distinguishable from the line's other savoury flavours.

The result is a crunchy, aromatic biscuit, less neutral than the almond or pumpkin seed versions, recalling the scent of the pine forests along the Ravenna coast. Organic and 100% plant-based.

Excellent for an aperitif, on its own or together with fresh cheeses and cured meats.
