Artisan Acacia Honey from the Marche

The first honey a beekeeper recommends to someone who doesn't like honey.

Anyone who has kept bees knows that the real test of an acacia honey is its clarity: it must stay clear and liquid for months, almost never crystallising, because it contains more fructose than other honeys. It's one of the few honeys recognisable at a glance, and for this reason one of the most imitated and cut on the market.

Ours comes from the Marche region, from the April-May bloom, and is personally selected by choosing among different local beekeepers precisely for this clarity and delicacy of flavour: sweet, light, almost neutral, with a hint of floral note that never overpowers whatever it's paired with.

This is why it's the most versatile honey in our collection: perfect for sweetening tea and herbal infusions without altering their aroma, excellent at breakfast with yoghurt or fresh cheese, or simply by the spoonful.
