A London Dry Gin distilled with 100% Romagna juniper, hand-picked in the Apennines, signed by Distilleria Riviera of Bagnacavallo (Ravenna).

The name recalls Saint Vitalis, one of the figures who tie Ravenna to its most ancient history: a tribute stated by the producer itself, for a spirit that weaves together tradition and innovation. The eight botanicals — juniper, rosemary, bay leaf, dog rose, sage, gentian, lemon verbena and chestnut leaves — build a herbaceous profile with the savouriness of sage, the liveliness of rosemary, the citrus freshness of lemon verbena and a bitter note on the finish from bay leaf and gentian.

The label reproduces the hand-printed canvas of the Stamperia Pascucci, a traditional Romagna printing-press craft: an explicit nod to the two historic arts of the territory, weaving and mosaic.

Try it in an essential gin and tonic, to leave room for the botanicals, or neat with ice.
