Teodorico — Distilled Gin

A Distilled Gin from Distilleria Riviera of Bagnacavallo (Ravenna), dedicated to Theodoric the Great, the Ostrogoth king who made Ravenna the capital of his kingdom in the 6th century.

The label reproduces the starry mosaic sky of the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia — golden stars on a night-blue background — turning the bottle into a small fragment of Byzantine history. The chosen botanicals — juniper, lemon peel, lavender, pink pepper, coriander, cardamom and ginger — combine local and exotic notes in a fresh, spicy profile.

On the nose, fresh citrus with floral and spicy hints; on the palate it is balanced and dry, with a soft, persistent finish.

Ideal in an aromatic gin and tonic or in classic cocktails such as Negroni and Martini.
