"Giovanni" Giardiniera — Unusual, with Fruit

A sweet-and-sour giardiniera combining vegetables and fruit, produced by Cinque Sensi Srl for the "La Giardiniera di Morgan" range.

Alongside carrots, peppers, cauliflower, fennel, celeriac and Jerusalem artichoke there are pears, apples and borettane onions, softened by apple vinegar as well as white wine vinegar: a sweeter, less sharp profile than classic giardiniera.

Pair with aged cheeses, cured meats or a mixed board.
