Corn Flake and Raisin Biscuits – Il Lorese

Same crunchy corn flake base as the chocolate biscuit, but here the sweetness comes from raisins instead of cocoa.

Azienda Agricola Il Lorese of Loro Piceno prepares these biscuits by combining flour, sugar, fresh eggs and butter with crunchy corn flakes and raisins (3.5%), flavoured with natural vanilla. The texture is more rustic and grainy than the ring biscuits, due to the whole flakes in the dough.

The result is a less sweet biscuit than the chocolate version, with the fruity note of the raisins pairing well with the crunchiness of the corn flakes.

Ideal for breakfast or a snack, even dipped in milk.
