These are not oat flakes or muesli: they are real cornflakes, mixed whole into the biscuit dough instead of being served in a breakfast bowl.

Azienda Agricola Il Lorese of Loro Piceno adds crunchy cornflakes and dark chocolate chips (3.5%) to the classic base of flour, sugar, fresh eggs and butter, for a biscuit with a more rustic, grainy texture than the ciambelline of the same range.

The result is an indulgent biscuit, with the crunch of the cornflakes alternating with the sweetness of the dark chocolate chips, flavoured with natural vanilla.

Perfect for breakfast or as a snack, also dipped in milk.
