The name is a Romagna exclamation of appreciation, the kind you'd use in front of a well-made dish or piece of work.
Produced in the hills of Rimini by La Birra del Bagnino, with labels illustrated by Rimini artist Giuliano Maroncelli, this amber beer is the most structured in the range.
The coppery colour is supported by a rich, persistent foam. The nose combines biscuity malt notes with an elegant hop aroma, for an enveloping, refined taste, closed by a lightly bitter finish that invites the next sip. Unfiltered, unpasteurised, no preservatives.
Excellent with cured meats and aged cheeses, grilled meats, game, pizza, crostini, burgers, piadina with prosciutto and pecorino, but also with ring cake, fruit tarts, custards and dark chocolate. Serve at 6-8°C.
