Angelo al Basilico

A condiment made from extra virgin olive oil and basil, crushed together by the Marcolini oil mill of Villa Betti, in Pesaro.

The basil gives the oil a fresh, herbaceous aroma that is noticeable on the nose, with a rounded taste typical of Marche extra virgin oils. It contains no synthetic flavourings: the taste comes from processing the leaf directly with the olives.

Use raw on tomatoes, mozzarella, bruschetta, or to finish a freshly drained pasta dish.
