Angelo with Basil

A condiment made from extra virgin olive oil and basil, crushed together by the Marcolini mill in Villa Betti, Pesaro.

The basil gives the oil a fresh, herbaceous scent you can already smell on the nose, with the rounded taste typical of Marche extra virgin oils. It contains no synthetic flavourings: the flavour comes from processing the leaves directly with the olives.

Use raw on tomatoes, mozzarella, bruschetta or to finish a freshly drained plate of pasta.
