Amaro Riviera

A bitter liqueur made from natural substances alone and infusions of herbs and roots, bottled by Artistica Artigiana S.r.l. in San Clemente, in the Rimini hinterland.

The recipe follows the rural Romagna tradition: among the herbs and roots in infusion are chamomile, artichoke, valerian, thyme, yarrow, mint, lemon balm, mallow, cinchona bark, aloe, liquorice and rhubarb, along with other plants from the local herbal flora.

An after-dinner amaro, served neat or on ice, whose label recalls the theme of the Romagna coast, between lighthouses and paper boats.
