A historic and noble grape variety of Alto Adige, Schiava by Ferruccio Carlotto comes from the vineyards of Ora, in the Raut and Tschint areas, on the alluvial soils of the Rio Nero, rich in stone material and of mixed porphyric and calcareous origin.
Vinified with a short maceration and aged in stainless steel, this Schiava expresses a fresh and authentic character. On the nose, it offers delicate fruity aromas, while the palate is light, harmonious, and pleasantly drinkable, with a low alcohol content that makes it perfect for convivial occasions.
A simple yet elegant wine, capable of conveying the Alto Adige tradition with spontaneity.
Food pairings: excellent as an all-meal wine, ideal with cured meats, light first courses, white meats, and fresh cheeses.
