Tanca Farrà 2016 is one of the iconic wines of Sella & Mosca, born in the south-eastern quadrant of the estate on red clay soils rich in iron, shaped by the sun and winds of Sardinia.

A blend of Cannonau and Cabernet Sauvignon, it combines the nobility of Sardinia’s most celebrated native grape with the international elegance of Cabernet. After a long aging of 3 years between barriques and large oak casks, followed by 6 additional months in bottle, it reveals a unique profile, surprising for its harmony and elegance.

Ruby red with garnet reflections, the bouquet is ample and ethereal, offering floral notes of rose and violet, black cherry, myrtle, tobacco, with balsamic and spicy accents. On the palate it is full-bodied, dry, and balanced, with elegant tannins, warm minerality, and a lingering oak finish.

A great Mediterranean red, ideal with roasts, red meats, game, rich dishes, and aged hard cheeses.
